GRACE + SEAN'S CLOUDY CONSERVATORY ENGAGEMENT

These two were such a joy to work with, not to mention naturals in front of the camera. Our original plan was to go canoeing in the Arboretum, but rain clouds brought us to the Volunteer Park Conservatory instead.

While putting this story together, I just couldn't help but get the warm and fuzzies over how passionate Grace and Sean are about one another. This is the type of honest, love story documenting I live for.

TONY + RYAN'S CAPITOL HILL WEDDING

It was pouring rain from the moment I pulled up to the Sorrento, where Ryan and her bridesmaids were getting ready for the wedding. But the moment she and Tony saw one another for the very first time that day, the sun started shining.

Their wedding took place at Sole Repair on Capitol Hill, Seattle and was nothing short of magical. Nearly the entire staff was comprised of friends of the bride and groom, and it was truly amazing to see so much talent come together so flawlessly. It brought me so much joy to have so many people I've grown so much with over the years under one roof as we watched two of our best friends tie the knot. We couldn't be happier knowing these two will be spending the rest of their lives together!

JAKE + KATIE'S SNOQUALMIE PASS ENGAGEMENT

We ended up clear on the other side of the lake than we expected to, but stumbling on this golden, autumn wonderland was totally worth it. I CANNOT believe how beautiful Snoqualmie Pass is in the fall. Even in the rain.

Jake also taught me how to start a fire in the rain when all you have is nothing but wet sticks. I love that I occasionally get the opportunity to learn awesome life protips from my clients.
